Abstract

Gangguan kesehatan mental pada remaja masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang memerlukan perhatian karena prevalensinya cukup tinggi dan dapat memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berhubungan dengan kesehatan mental remaja adalah parenting style. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan parenting style dengan kesehatan mental remaja di Posyandu Remaja Puskesmas Kuta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 132 remaja yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) dan Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ)-20. Analisis data menggunakan uji Rank Spearman dengan tingkat kemaknaan 95% (α=0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memperoleh parenting style demokratis sebanyak 59 orang (44,7%) dan mayoritas responden berada pada kategori sehat mental sebanyak 102 orang (77,3%). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara parenting style dengan kesehatan mental remaja di Posyandu Remaja Puskesmas Kuta Selatan (p=0,000). Penerapan pola asuh yang tepat perlu ditingkatkan sebagai upaya mendukung kesehatan mental remaja melalui kolaborasi antara keluarga dan tenaga kesehatan.
