Abstract

Postpartum ( masa nifas ) merupakan masa setelah lahirnya plasenta dan berakhirnya ketika alat kandungan kembali seperti keadaan semula ini berlangsung selama 6 minggu. Ibu nifas kerap kali mengalami perubahan baik secara fisiologis maupun psikologis, salah satunya adalah perubahan reaksi tubuh akibat kontraksi uterus sehingga menimbulkan afterpain. Afterpain pada ibu postpartum dapat diukur menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Penatalaksanaan afterpain pada ibu postpartum dapat dilakukan menggunakan teknik effleurage massage. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh teknik effleurage massage terhadap afterpain pada ibu postpartum di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kubutambahan II. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah one group pre test post test design yang merupakan penelitian Pre- Eksperimen. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 ibu postpartum hari ke 2 sampai hari ke 4 dengan teknik total sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk membandingkan hasil sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan teknik effleurage massage terhadap afterpain yang dialami ibu postpartum dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,001 <(0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh teknik effleurage massage terhadap tingkat afterpain pada ibu postpartum di wilayah kerja puskesmas kubutambahan II. Saran kepada tempat penelitian agar dapat mengaplikasikan teknik effleurage massage pada ibu postpartum yang mengalami nyeri afterpain sebagai asuhan kebidanan komplementer.
