Abstract

Ibu mempunyai peranan penting dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi dan balita, khususnya pengetahuan ibu memiliki pengaruh kepada pola pikir dan tingkat kepedulian untuk memberikan asupan makan yang tepat untuk anaknya. Pengetahuan ibu mempengaruhi perilaku ibu dalam pemberian MPASI, baik dari segi ketepatan waktu, jenis makanan, maupun jumlah makanan terhadap praktik pemberian MPASI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian MPASI dengan status gizi pada bayi usia 6-24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Blahbatuh II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang mendapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 83 orang. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur kuesioner berupa kuesioner kuesioner pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian MPASI. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji spearman rank. Hasil uji statistik dapat diketahui correlation coefficient = 0,400, p value sebesar 0,001 dengan α = 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa p value 0,001 < α 0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian MPASI dengan status gizi pada bayi usia 6-24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Blahbatuh II
