Abstract

Kehamilan menyebabkan perubahan hormonal tubuh yang memicu terjadinya respon mual muntah, biasanya terjadi ketika fase trimester I. Pemberian aromaterapi merupakan jenisterapi yang dipercaya mampu menurunkan mual muntal dengan menggunakan minyak esensial tanaman tertentu, salah satunya kapulaga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas aromaterapi minyak kapulaga terhadap mual dan muntah ibu hamil trimester I di Puskesmas II Negara Penelitian menggunakan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 37 responden yang ditentukan dengan teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Bulan Juni 2025 yaitu terkait mual muntah yang diukur menggunakan lembarPUQE. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan mual muntah sebelum dan setelah pemberian aromaterapi kapulaga, yaitu dari mual sedang (67,6%) menjadi mual ringan (48,6%). Pemberian aromaterapi minyak kapulaga efektif dalam mengurangi mual dan muntah pada ibu hamil trimester I di Puskesmas II Negara (p-value 0,000). Bidan dan petugas kesehatan lainnya diharapkan dapat menerapkan pemberian aromaterapi kapulaga sebagai intervensi rutin untuk membantu menurunkan mual muntah pada ibu hamil.
