Abstract

Sebagian besar penerapan standar keselamatan pasien sudah dilakukan, namun kejadian insiden keselamatan pasien masih terjadi. Keberhasilan penerapan patient safety dapat dicapai apabila perawat mengetahui dengan tepat sesuatu yang mengancam keselamatan pasien selama perawatan di rumah sakit. Pengetahuan yang baik akan mempengaruhi perilaku perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan dengan tetap memprioritaskan keselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang keselamatan pasien (patient safety) dengan penerapan standar keselamatan pasien di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Bali Royal Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi adalah perawat ruang rawat inap yang dengan sesuai kriteria inklusi. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling sebanyak 51 responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisa data menggunakan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan pengetahuan perawat dengan upaya penerapan patient safety dengan p-value 0,001. Dimana pelaksanaan yang baik dipengaruhi dengan pengetahuan atau pemahaman perawat terhadap SPO tentang penerapan standar keselamatan pasien (patient safety), namun tidak selamanya melaksanakan keselamatan pasien dengan baik karena segala tindakan yang akan dilakukan beresiko untuk terjadi kesalahan, sehingga perlu adanya dorongan atau motivasi supervisi dari kepala ruang
