Abstract

Air susu ibu (ASI) eksklusif adalah makanan yang didapatkan bayi sejak awal kelahiran sampai bayi berusia enam bulan tanpa memberikan makanan atau minuman. Pada tahun 2020 jumlah pemberian ASI eksklusif secara Nasional mencapai 66,06% dari target Renstra yang sebesar 40%, sedangkan di Kabupaten Tabanan mencapai 36,88%, dan di Puskesmas Kediri I mencapai 36,48%. Penyebab ketidakberhasilan ASI eksklusif salah satunya adalah usia ibu, usia aman untuk menyusui adalah 20-35 tahun sesuai dengan masa reproduksi memberikan ASI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan usia ibu dengan pemberian ASI eksklsuif. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan waktu retrospektif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik korelasional. Jumlah sempel adalah total sampel yang dimana ada 140 responden yaitu 54 kelompok ASI eksklusif dan 86 kelompok tidak memberi ASI eksklusif. Variabel bebas usia ibu dan variabel terikat pemberian ASI eksklusif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil uji Chi-Square didapatkan dengan hasil Asymp. p value sebesar 0,036 yang berarti >0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan hasil uji hipotesis maka Ha diterima berarti ada hubungan usia responden dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Saran untuk penelitian lanjutan yang lebih mendalam tentang pengetahuan, kebiasaan, pola hidup dan produksi asi dan faktor lain yang mempengaruhi pemberian asi.
