Abstract

Anemia pada ibu hamil ditandai dengan penurunan kadar hemoglobin merupakan penyebab perdarahan, bayi lahir premature dan stunting. Pemberian tablet besi menjadi upaya meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil, namun kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam komsumsi menjadi kunci keberhasilan program tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam mengkonsumsi tablet besi dengan kadar hemoglobin. Metode penelitian analitik korelasi dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 59 ibu hamil dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner Adherence to Refills and Medications Scale dan lembar dokumentasi mencatat hasil pengukuran kadar hemoglobin. Analisis data menggunakan uji Rank Spearmans. Hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam mengkonsumsi tablet Besi adalah sedang (45,8%) dengan kadar hemoglobin dalam katagori anemia ringan (35,6%). Analisis menunjukan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kepatuhan ibu hamil dalam mengkonsumsi tablet Besi dengan kadar hemoglobin dengan korelasi yang kuat dan sifat korelasi positif yang artinya semakin tinggi kepatuhan ibu hamil konsumsi tablet besi maka semakin baik atau normal kadar hemoglobin (p value 0,001; α 0,05; coefesien corelation 0, 63,3). Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan agar meningkatkan pemberian konseling informasi dan edukasi kepada ibu hamil dan keluarganya tentang pentingnya konsumsi tablet besi secara patuh untuk mencegah anemia pada kehamilan.
