Abstract

Pembedahan sectio caesarea akan menimbulkan nyeri bagi ibu post sectio caesarea. Penanganan alternatif yang aman dan efektif untuk mengurangi nyeri pasca operasi dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian akupresur titik LI 4. Akupresur titik LI 4 (Hegu) terletak di antara ibu jari dan telunjuk tangan dengan teknik pemijatan yang lembut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian akupresur titik LI 4 terhadap intensitas nyeri post sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Umum Bali Jimbaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest posttest design dengan jumlah sampel adalah 36 ibu post sectio caesarea, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian akupresur titik LI 4 terhadap intensitas nyeri post sectio caesarea. Adapun saran yang diberikan adalah menetapkan akupresur titik LI 4 sebagai alternatif pengobatan nonfarmakologi. Bagi penelitian selanjutnya dapat menambahkan variabel yang dapat disesuaikan tanpa keterbatasan serta untuk masyarakat dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif tindakan bagi ibu yang mengalami nyeri post sectio caesarea.
