Abstract

Lansia akan mengalami proses penuaan yang menyebabkan penurunan fungsi tubuh. Perubahan yang terjadi akibat salah satunya penurunan kognitif dan psikomotor membuat lansia menjadi lebih emosional, sehingga lansia rentan mengalami stres. Manajemen stres nonfarmakologi diperlukan untuk membantu mengurangi stres lansia, salah satunya adalah terapi reminiscance. Penelitian ini bertujuan Terapi Reminiscence Terhadap Tingkat Stres Pada Lansia Di UPTD Puskesmas Kuta II. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Quasy Experiment dengan pre and posttest with control group design dengan purposive sampling, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah lansia yang berada di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Kuta II yang berjumlah 36 orang yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yang masing-masing terdiri dari 18 orang responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat stres lansia dalah DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale). Hasil analisis dengan uji wilcoxon signed rank test menunjukkan nilai p-value 0,026, sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh reminiscence therapy terhadap tingkat stres lansia di UPTD Puskesman Kuta II. Diharapkan kepada pihak Puskesmas untuk menjadikan terapi reminiscence sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah psikologis lansia khususnya depresi dan stres.
