Abstract
Menarche merupakan salah satu tanda kematangan organ seks pada remaja putri. Menarche muncul pada usia 8–15 tahun atau 2-3 tahun setelah munculnya perkembangan seks sekunder (thelarche). Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) merupakan salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk pemantauan status gizi orang dewasa, khususnya berkaitan dengan kekurangan dan kelebihan berat badan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh (IMT) terhadap usia menarche pada siswi Mts Mambaul Ulum Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 64 responden yang telah mengalami menarche. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu timbangan, microtoice serta lembar observasi usia menarche dengan analisis menggunakan menggunakan uji spearman-rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pendapatan orang tua adalah 1-2 juta perbulan, kegiatan olahraga sebanyak 0-1 kali perminggu, indeks massa tubuh mayoritas adalah overweight dan usia menarche mayoritas normal (10-16). Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan nilai p value 0.000 (<0.05) sehingga dapat dikatakan ada hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh (IMT) terhadap usia menarche. Remaja diharapkan agar memperhatikan pola asupan nutrisi setiap harinya untuk menjaga agar berat badan tetap stabil.
