Abstract

Meningkatnya prevalensi diabetes mellitus tipe II dikarenakan penderita DM mengalami masalah ketidakpatuhan pasien dalam pengelolaan DM. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku positif adalah efikasi diri atau self efficacy. Semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka semakin tinggi pula kepatuhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Self Efficacy Dengan Kepatuhan Pemakaian Insulin Pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II Di Puskesmas Mengwi I Badung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan crosssectional. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner Self efficacy Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale (DMSES) dan kepatuhan menggunakan modifikasi Morisky Medication Adherence (MMAS-8) dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 responden yang dibagi menjadi kelompok Sampel dipilih melalui teknik Purporsiv sampling. Hasil uji Spearman-Rank didapatkan dengan hasil koefisien α=0,05 diperoleh nilai p= 0,018 yang berarti nilai p < nilai α=0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis maka Ha diterima yang berarti ada hubungan self efficacy dengan kepatuhan pemakaian insulin pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe II di Puskesmas Mengwi 1 Badung. Petugas kesehatan diharapkan untuk memberikan edukasi pada penderita diabetes mellitus tentang pentingnya self efficacy untuk patuh melakukan terapi insulin sehingga penanganan dalam pemberian intervensi pada pasien dapat optimal.
