Abstract

Beberapa studi menunjukkan bahwa IMT merupakan salah satu faktor yang memiliki pengaruh dalam penentuan usia menarche seorang remaja putri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara IMT dengan umur menarche pada remaja putri di wilayah kerja UPTD. Puskesmas Petang II. Penelitian ini adalah studi observasional analitik rancangan penelitian crosssectional. Sampel yang didapatkan berjumlah 186 remaja putri yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Data IMT dan usia menarche didapat melalui kusioner dan pengukuran antropometri. Analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi dan analisa bivariat menggunakan chi-square Hasil penelitian menunjukkan remaja putri yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi IMT normal adalah yang paling banyak, yaitu sebesar 150 atau (80,6%) remaja putri , begitu juga dengan remaja putri dalam klasifikasi usia menarche normal, yaitu sebanyak 184 (98,9%) remaja putri. Dari hasil uji analisa chi-square didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,186. Oleh karena nilai signifikansi > 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara IMT dengan usia menarche pada remaja putri di wilayah kerja UPTD. Puskesmas Petang II
