Abstract
Advances in the technological era affect aspects of life, especially in the field of Mental Health Nursing. Remote care that is provided by nurses is known as telenursing. Effective and effective and accessible therapy is needed for schizophrenia patients. Telenursing is able to connect patients and nurses in short time with low cost but impact on patient compliance. This study aims to determine the effect of telenursing on the relapse of schizophrenia patients in the working area of UPTD Mengwi I Health Center. This research method is quantitative research using a Quasy Experiment research design with post-test only with control group design with simple random sampling, the sample in this study were patients with schizophrenia in the work area of UPTD Puskesmas Mengwi I, totaling 36 people who were divided into 2 groups, each consisting of 2 groups consisting of 1 group of patients with schizophrenia. divided into 2 groups, each consisting of 18 respondents. The research instrument used to measure the provision of telenursing is a checklist Whatsapp reminder checklist and relapse measured with a schizophrenia patient relapse questionnaire. The results of the analysis obtained the level of relapse of schizophrenia patients after being given telenursing intervention obtained an average score of 10.22 and the control group that was not given telenursing intervention obtained an average score of 12.61. Mann-Whitney Test shows a p-value of 0.015 (0.015 <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the level of relapse in the treatment and control groups after being given telenursing.
