Abstract

Pencegahan penyakit hepatitis B merupakan salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanggulangi penyebaran virus hepatitis B, salah satu faktor yang berkaitan dengan prilaku pencegahan adalah tingkat pengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari hubungan tingkat pengetahuan siswa terhadap pencegahan penyakit hepatitis B di Smp Ngurah Rai Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini jenisnya deskriptif korelasional dengan waktu cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 47 responden siswa SMP. Instrumen pada penelitian ini mengunakan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan dan pencegahan hepatitis B. Hasil uji statistik spearman rank menunjukan bahwa nilai p-value atau Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000< lebih kecil dari 0,05 antara tingkat pengetahuan siswa terhadap pencegahan penyakit hepatitis B di SMP Ngurah Rai Kabupaten Badung, dengan kekuatan korelasi yang kuat antar kedua variabel dan sifat korelasi positif (r = 0,677) atau searah yang artinya semakin banyak meningkatkan pengetahuan , maka semakin meningkat tingkat pencegahan hepatitis B. Saran pada penelitian ini diharapkan siswa peduli tentang pencegahan hepatitis B.
