Abstract

Tuberculosis atau yang sering disebut dengan TBC merupakan penyakit infeksi terutama menyerang paru-paru disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Ketidakpatuhan pasien dalam minum Obat Anti Tuerculosis dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita tuberculosis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara adherence (kepatuhan minum obat) terhadap kualitas hidup penderita tuberculosis di Wilayah UPT Puskesmas Kuta Selatan dengan menggunakan kuesioner MMAS-8 untuk menilai kepatuhan minum obat dan kuesioner WHOQOL-BREF untuk menilai kualitas hidup. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Observasional Analitik, yaitu menggali bagaimana dan mengapa fenomena kesehatan ini terjadi dengan rancangan cross sectional. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purvosive sampling. Pada hasil uji statistik Spearman Rank didapatkan ada hubungan yang kuat antara Adherence (kepatuhan minum obat) terhadap kualitas hidup penderita tuberculosis dengan nilai koefisien α=0.05 diperoleh nilai (p=0.000 dan r=0.622) pada Domain 1, (p=0.000 dan r=0.600) pada Domain 2, (p=0.000 dan r=0.623) pada Domain 3, (p=0.000 dan r=0.605) pada Domain 4. Arah hubungan didapatkan positif yang artinya semakin tinggi tingkat kepatuhan minum obat pasien maka kualitas hidup penderita tuberculosis akan semakin meningkat.
