Abstract

Ibu pada masa nifas secara perlahan akan mengalami perubahan seperti keadaan sebelum hamil. Ibu nifas kerap kali mengalami perubahan baik secara fisiologis mapun psikologis, salah satunya adalah perubahan reaksi tubuh akibat kontraksi uterus sehingga menimbulkan afterpains. Afterpains pada ibu nifas dapat diukur menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Penatalaksanaan afterpains pada ibu nifas dapat dilakukan menggunakan teknik effleurage massage. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh teknik effleurage massage terhadap afterpains pada ibu nifas di PMB Luh Mariyani, S.Tr.Keb. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah one group pre test post test design yang merupakan penelitian Pre-Eksperimen. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 ibu nifas 1-2 jam dengan teknik total sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk membandingkan hasil sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan teknik effleurage massage terhadap afterpains yang dialami ibu nifas dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh teknik effleurage massage terhadap tingkat afterpains pada ibu nifas di PMB Luh Mariyani, S.Tr.Keb. Saran kepada tempat penelitian agar dapat mengaplikasikan teknik effleurage massage pada ibu nifas yang mengalami nyeri afterpains sebagai asuhan kebidanan komplementer.
