SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KESEHATAN BINA USADA BALI PROGRAM STUDI SARJANA ILMU KEPERAWATAN Skripsi, Januari 2023 Sang Ayu Wini Anarky xiii + 52 + 8 tabel + 4 gambar + 12 lampiran Pengaruh Pemberian Foot Hand Massage Terhadap Tingkat Nyeri Pasien Post Appendectomy di Ruang Rawat Inap Lantai III RS Famili Husada ABSTRAK Appendectomy merupakan tindakan pembedahan pada kondisi apendisitis (peradangan pada apendiks) yang dapat menimbulkan persepsi nyeri pasca tindakan sehingga berdampak pada proses kesembuhan dan memicu komplikasi apabila tidak ditangani. Pemberian foot hand massage merupakan salah satu penatalaksanaan yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu mengatasi nyeri post appendectomy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian foot hand massage terhadap tingkat nyeri pasien post appendectomy di Ruang Rawat Inap Lantai III RS Famili Husada Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experiment dengan one group pretest and posttest design melibatkan 13 sampel yang dipilih melalui teknik Purposive Sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan Numerical Rating Scale dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat nyeri sebelum pemberian foot hand massage lebih banyak berada pada kategori nyeri berat (61,5%) dan sesudah pemberian foot hand massage sebagian besar mengalami nyeri ringan (53,8%). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian foot hand massage terhadap tingkat nyeri pasien post appendectomy di Ruang Rawat Inap Lantai III RS Famili Husada (p-value=0,003. Penelitian ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam pemberian layanan keperawatan sebagai salah satu intervensi keperawatan untuk mengurangi nyeri pasien post appendectomy Kata kunci : foot hand massage, nyeri, post appendectomy Daftar Pustaka : 83 (2012-2022) HEALTH INSTITUTION OF BINA USADA BALI BACHELOR DEGREE OF NURSING PROGRAM Undergraduate Thesis, January 2023 Sang Ayu Wini Anarky xiii + 52 + 8 tables + 4 pictures + 12 attachments The Influence of Foot Hand Massage Towards Pain Levels of Post Appendectomy Patient in 3rd Floor Ward of Famili Husada Hospital ABSTRACT Appendicitis is a recovery action in conditions of appendicitis (inflammation of the appendix) which can lead to the perception of pain after the procedure which can impact the recovery process and triggers complications if left untreated. Giving foot hand massage is one of the treatments that can be done to help deal with pain after appendicitis surgery. This study aims to determine the effect of giving foot hand massage to the pain level of post-appendectomy patients in 3 rd floor Inpatient Room Famili Husada Hospital. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one group pretest and posttest design involving 13 samples selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using the Numerical Rating Scale and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the level of pain before giving foot hand massage was more in severe pain category (61.5%) and after giving foot hand massage most of them experienced mild pain (53.8%). This study shows that there is an effect of giving foot hand massage to the pain level of post-appendectomy patients in in 3 rd floor Inpatient Room Famili Husada Hospital (p-value = 0.003). This research can be applied in providing pain services as one of the suffering interventions to reduce postoperative pain.
