Abstract
Pada perkembangan psikologis dan sosial remaja sering mengalami suatu keadaan perilaku yang menyimpang. Remaja meminum tuak dikarenakan adanya faktor pendukung seperti ego, keluarga, lingkungan, budaya, tekanan, dan juga distress. Secara hukum pemerintah melarang minum-minuman berakohol golongan A, golongan B, golongan C, minuman berakohol tradisional, maupun campuran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami mengapa remaja di Banjar Anyar Kaja, Kerobokan, Kuta Utara, Badung, Bali meminum tuak. Penelitian menggunakan studi kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Informan sebanyak 12 orang, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan di analisis secara Miles Huberman, & Saldana. Alasan-alasan remaja meminuum tuak di karenakan adanya tradisi, rasa ingin coba-coba, menghilangkan stress, distress. Meminum tuak dapat memberikan rasa rileks, kesenangan serta rasa nyaman yang menimbulkan adanya peningkatan rasa senang pada remaja sehingga distress yang dialami berkurang walau bersifat sementara.
