Abstract

Masa nifas (puerperium) adalah masa setelah keluarnya plasenta sampai alat-alat reproduksi pulih seperti sebelum hamil dan berlangsung selama 6 minggu. Hal yang sering dialami oleh ibu nifas yaitu rasa nyeri pada luka daerah perineum. Pemberian aromaterapi merupakan salah satu terapi komplementer. Aromaterapi yang dapat digunakan untuk menurunkan rasa nyeri salah satunya adalah aroma terapi lavender. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas aroma terapi lavender terhadap penurunan tingkat nyeri luka perineum post partum di PMB Ni Made Rahayu Dwipayanti, A.Md. Keb. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimental dengan quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design. Jumlah sampel 20 ibu dengan 6 jam jam post partum yang mengalami nyeri luka perineum. Teknik yang digunakan non probability sampling dengan bentuk purposive sampling. Data dianalisis mengunakan Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hasil uji beda Wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya signifikansi penurunan tingkat nyeri ibu postpartum yang dibuktikan dengan nilai p = 0.001. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aroma terapi lavender efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri luka perineum pada ibu postpartum di PMB Ni Made Rahayu Dwipayanti A.Md.Keb.
