Abstract

Bullying merupakan perilaku agresif yang dilakukan secara berulang dan adanya ketidakseimbangan kekuatan yang dapat mengakibatkan gangguan fisik, psikologis maupun sosial. Perilaku bullying yang terjadi pada anak sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan keluarganya, seperti pola asuh dan pola komunikasi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh dan pola komunikasi keluarga terhadap perilaku bullying anak sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Abang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 159 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) yang dimodifikasi, kuesioner pola komunikasi keluarga dan kuesioner perilaku bullying. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu spearman rank. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 86,8% responden berada pada kategori pola asuh demokratis, 50,3% berada pada kategori pola komunikasi baik dan 66,7% berada pada kategori perilaku bullying rendah. Hasil uji statistik spearman rank menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh terhadap perilaku bullying anak sekolah dengan p value 0,001 dan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola komunikasi keluarga terhadap perilaku bullying anak sekolah dengan p value 0,001. Petugas kesehatan diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pola asuh dan pola komunikasi yang baik untuk mengurangi terjadinya perilaku bullying.
