Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular, insidensinya masih tinggi, dan berkaitan dengan kadar kolestetol yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi kolesterol total terhadap tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di Rumah Sakit X di Denpasar Studi ini merupakan kuantitatif observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional yang melibatkan 80 sampel, dipilih secara simple random sampling. Datanya adalah sekunder didapat dari rekam medis dan dianalis menggunakan Korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Secara statistik terdapat korelasi kolesterol total terhadap tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di Rumah Sakit X di Denpasar dengan p-value 0,001 pada tekanan darah sistole dan p-value 0,007 pada tekanan darah diastole. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi evidence based practice yang dapat digunakan sebagai informasi mengenai korelasi kolesterol total terhadap tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi.
