Abstract

Jus buah naga putih sebagai terapi nonfarmakologis mampu membantu menurunkan tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi karena mengandung kalium, flavonoid, vitamin C, dan antioksidan yang berperan meningkatkan vasodilatasi, memperbaiki fungsi endotel pembuluh darah, meningkatkan ekskresi natrium, serta mengurangi stres oksidatif sehingga tekanan darah dapat menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus buah naga putih terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi di Banjar Kelaan dan Desa Bonyoh, Kecamatan Kintamani, Kabupaten Bangli. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pre-test Post-test pada populasi terjangkau sebanyak 50 lansia yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan pengukuran tekanan darah menggunakan alat tensimeter dan dianalisis dengan uji paired t-test. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan rata-rata tekanan darah dari 172,20 mmHg (tinggi) sebelum intervensi menjadi 140,38 (normal) setelah intervensi, dengan nilai sebesar 0,000. Sehingga, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari pemberian jus buah naga putih terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia hipertensi di banjar kelaan dan desa bonyoh kecamatan kintamani kabupaten bangli
