Abstract

Batuk pilek merupakan penyakit yang paling sering menyerang anak usia dibawah lima tahun Batuk pilek yang tidak ditangani bisa berlanjut menjadi masalah serius seperti sinusitis, infeksi telinga, jika tidak membaik dalam 7-10 hari. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penerapan terapi akupresur titik LI20 dan terapi uap eucalyptus essential oil terhadap balita dengan batuk pilek. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasy-eksperiment dengan rangcangan two group pretestposttest design, yang membandingkan perubahan antar dua kelompok (eksperimen dan kontrol). Teknik sampel menggunakan teknik incidental sampling, sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Pemberian intervensi dilakukan selama 10 menit. Pengukuran keluhan batuk pilek dengan kuisioner. Uji analisis menggunakan analisis wilcoxon sign rank test dan mann-whitney Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor keluhan batuk pilek pada kelompok perlakuan menurun dari 15,93 (kategori sedang) menjadi 9,80 (kategori ringan) setelah pemberian terapi akupresur titik LI20 dan terapi uap dengan eucalyptus essential oil, dengan perbedaan yang bermakna (p = 0,001). Pada kelompok kontrol, rata-rata skor berubah dari 16,07 menjadi 15,27 (kategori sedang) dan tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna (p = 0,087). Analisis antar kelompok menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p = 0,001), sehingga kombinasi terapi akupresur titik LI20 dan terapi uap dengan eucalyptus essential oil efektif menurunkan keluhan batuk pilek pada balita.
