Abstract

Kondisi hipertensi yang tidak terkontrol akan menyebabkan jantung harus bekerja lebih keras, hal ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan pada pembuluh darah, jantung, ginjal, otak, dan mata. Pengobatan hipertensi terbagi menjadi 2 cara yaitu, pengobatan farmakologi dan non farmakologi seperti akupresur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi akupresur terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Abiansemal II. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-eksperimen yang menerapkan program one group pre-test serta post-test design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling setelah dihitung dengan rumus, didapatkan sampel sebanyak 32 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi tekanan darah, tensimeter manual dan stetoskop merk One Med serta SOP pemberian terapi akupresur. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test karena data tidak bedistribusi normal. Hasil uji statistik nilai p 0,000 (< 0,05) sehingga hipotesis pada penelitian ini dapat diterima yaitu ada pengaruh terapi akupresur terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Abiansemal II.
