Abstract

Disminore merupakan salah satu gangguan menstruasi yang sering dialami remaja putri dan berdampak pada aktivitas sehari-hari. Disminore disebabkan oleh produksi prostaglandin yang terlalu banyak sehingga membuat rahim berkontraksi secara berlebihan yang menimbulkan keram pada perut. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi nyeri dismonore adalah dengan melakukan effleurage massage. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh effleurage massage terhadap intensitas nyeri disminore pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 1 Petang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan Pre Ekeperimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Responden penelitian berjumlah 20 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Hasil yang diperoleh sebelum diberikan effleurage massage tingkat nyeri responden berada pada intensitas sedang sebanyak 12 orang (60%). Setelah diberikan effleurage massage intensitas nyeri responden berada pada intensitas ringan sebanyak 17 orang (85%). Hasil uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test terhadap postest nyeri disminore menunjukkan nilai probabilitas (sig) <0,05 (0,001) sehingga dapat dikatakan secara garis besar terdapat perbedaan nyeri disminore sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi pada responden. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa (Ha) diterima, atau terdapat pengaruh effleurage massage terhadap intensitas nyeri disminore pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri 1 Petang.
