Abstract

ASI merupakan sumber gizi yang sangat ideal dengan komposisi yang seimbang dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pertumbuhan bayi. Salah satu masalah umum yang dihadapi ibu nifas adalah pengeluaran ASI yang tidak lancar yang disebabkan karena minimnya perawatan payudara. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu dengan memberikan perawatan payudara menggunakan virgin coconut oil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perawatan payudara menggunakan virgin coconut oil pada ibu nifas terhadap kelancaran pengeluaran ASI di TPMB Ni Luh Mariyani, S. Keb. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yaitu pre eksperimental dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan probability sampling dengan bentuk total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 34 responden. Instrumen menggunakan lembar SOP perawatan payudara, lembar observasi kelancaran pengeluaran ASI, dan pompa ASI elektrik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hasil analisis pengaruh perawatan payudara menggunakan virgin coconut oil pada ibu nifas terhadap kelancaran pengeluaran ASI di TPMB Ni Luh Mariyani, S.Keb. menunjukkan nilai p 0,000 (p-value < 0,05) yang berarti ada pengaruh perawatan payudara menggunakan virgin coconut oil pada ibu nifas terhadap kelancaran pengeluaran ASI di TPMB Ni Luh Mariyani, S.Keb.
