Abstract

Masa post-sectio caesarea merupakan periode pemulihan ibu setelah menjalani operasi SC dimana tubuh ibu mengalami berbagai perubahan fisiologis untuk kembali ke kondisi sebelum hamil. Pada masa ini ibu menghadapi berbagai tantangan salah satunya adalah proses produksi air susu ibu (ASI) yang sering kali terhambat. Salah satu metode non-farmakologis yang dapat dilakukan adalah Woolwich massage. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh woolwich massage terhadap produksi asi pada ibu post-sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Umum Semara Ratih. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Quasy Experiment dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. teknik sampling menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan bentuk purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel adalah 30 responden. Uji analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test yang dilakukan pengukuran saat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan woolwich massage dan uji Mann Whitney Test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Z -4,520 yang berarti hipotesis berada didaerah penerimaan Ha dengan nilai p-value 0,001<α 0,05 yang berarti ada pengaruh woolwich massage terhadap produksi asi pada ibu post-sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Umum Semara Ratih. Adapun saran yang diberikan adalah Penelitian ini diharapkan perawatan non farmakologi berupa woolwich massage dapat membantu meningkatkan produksi ASI, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pemberian ASI eksklusif.
