Abstract

Data ASI ekslusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bangka Kenda tiga tahun terakhir belum mencapai target yaitu 55% tahun 2021, 58% tahun 2022, dan 63,3% di tahun 2023. Tidak adanya peningkatan signifikan memperlihatkan masih banyak ibu yang kurang memahami tentang pentingnya ASI ekslusif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian ASI ekslusif di Puskesmas Bangka Kenda Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 30 orang dengan sampel menggunakan total populasi. Uji chi square di gunakan untuk melakukan uji bivariat antara variabel pengetahuan dengan pemberian ASI ekslusif . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan pemberian ASI ekslusif di Puskesmas Bangka Kenda dengan nilai p = 0,005 < 0,05. Disarankan kepada ibu menyusui dan calon ibu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya ASI bagi bayi dengan rutin mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan dan mencari informasi dari berbagai sumber.
