Abstract

Emesis gravidarum terjadi akibat perubahan hormonal selama masa kehamilan yang mengganggu keseimbangan cairan tubuh dan sistem gastrointertinal menyebabkan mual dan muntah. Penanganan non-farmakologi seperti pemberian minuman jahe dan minuman lemon dapat membantu mengurangi gejala. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektifitas antara minuman jahe dengan minuman lemon terhadap emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester I. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan teknik purposive sampling. Melibatkan 40 responden yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok perlakuan. Analisis yang digunakan wilcoxon sign rank test dan mann-whitney test. Hasil analisis sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menunjukkan penurunan signifikan emesis gravidarum pada kedua kelmpok (p-value 0,001 <0.05). Namun uji mann-whitney test menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p-value 0,708 < 0.05). Kesimpulannya, baik minuman jahe maupun minuman lemon efektif dalam mengurangi emesis gravidarum, tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan efektifitas di keduanya. Bidan disarankan memberikan intervensi ini untuk membantu ibu hamil trimester I mengurangi emesis gravidarum dan meningkatkan kesehatan ibu.
