Abstract

Masalah kesehatan lansia menyebabkan kemunduran fisik dan psikologis yang dapat mengakibatkan gangguan istirahat dan tidur. Kondisi ini membutuhkan perhatian yang serius karena menurunkan kualitas tidur lansia. Akupresur merupakan salah satu modalitas pengobatan komplementer alternatif yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas tidur lansia tanpa efek samping. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian terapi akupresur terhadap kualitas tidur lansia di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Tegallalang II. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan one group pre test - post test design. Prosedur pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non probability dengan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatakan 73 responden. Kualitas tidur diukur dengan kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), kemudian dilakukan analisis dengan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor pre test adalah 10,47, sementara rata-rata skor post test adalah 7,52. Analisis dengan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test diperoleh p value 0,000 (p value <0,05), sehingga ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada kualitas tidur sebelum dan setelah diberikan terapi akupresur pada lansia di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Tegallalang II. Diharapkan terapi akupresur dapat dijadikan bagian dari program kerja di Puskesmas khusunya program lansia dan kesehatan tradisional.
