Abstract

SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KESEHATAN BINA USADA BALI PROGRAM STUDI SARJANA ILMU KEPERAWATAN Skripsi, Desember 2023 Kadek Dwi Aristiani Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga terhadap Keberhasilan Pemantauan Glukosa Darah Mandiri (PGDM) pada Lansia dengan DM tipe II di Poliklinik RS X Denpasar xvi + 67 + 9 tabel + 3 gambar + 12 lampiran ABSTRAK Edukasi Pengelolaan Diabetes Mandiri (EPDM) merupakan komponen dalam penatalaksanaan DM yang komprehensif melalui Pemantauan Glukosa Darah Mandiri (PGDM). Beberapa pasien menunjukan ketidakberdayaan dalam pengelolaan pencegahan komplikasi diabetik akibat dari kurangnya dukungan keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap keberhasilan PGDM pada lansia dengan DM tipe II di poliklinik RS X Denpasar. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif korelatif dengan cross sectional. Teknik sampling mengunakan non-probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 41 responden. Analisis yang digunakan adalah rank spearman test. Hasil analisis menunjukan sebagian besar dukungan keluarga dalam kategori cukup (56,1%) dan tidak berhasil dalam pelaksanaan PGDM (80,5%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan p-value 0,000 <0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap keberhasilan PGDM pada lansia dengan DM tipe II di poliklinik RS X Denpasar. Petugas kesehatan menjadi garda terdepan dalam upaya meningkatkan keberhasilan PGDM dalam upaya pengontrolan GD sehingga angka mortalitas dan morbiditas akibat komplikasi DM terkontrol. This study aimed to determine the correlation between family support and the success of Independent Blood Glucose Monitoring (IBGM) in elderly people with type II DM at the Polyclinic of X Hospital Denpasar. This study used a cross-sectional correlative descriptive method. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 41 respondents. The Spearman rank test was utilized for the analysis. According to the findings of the investigation, the majority of family support is insufficient (56.1%) and unsuccessful in implementing IBGM (80.5%). Based on the findings of the analysis, the p-value was 0.000<0.05, implying that there was a correlation between family support and the success of Independent Blood Glucose Monitoring (IBGM) in elderly people with type II DM at the Polyclinic of X Hospital Denpasar. Health professionals are in the forefront of efforts to improve the effectiveness of IBGM in controlling blood glucose levels, hence lowering diabetes-related mortality and morbidity rates.
