Abstract

ABSTRAK Masa remaja usia antara 10-19 tahun adalah suatu periode masa pematangan organ reproduksi manusia yang banyak disebut dengan masa pubertas. Masa pubertas adalah suatu tahap perkembangan kematangan fisik, alat-alat seksual dan tercapainya kemampuan reproduksi dimana kriteria yang digunakan untuk mengetahui timbulnya pubertas serta memastikan masa pubertas yang telah dicapai yaitu dengan adanya menarche (haid pertama) pada anak Perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian eksperimental dengan desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest design melibatkan 47 responden remaja putri yang belum mengalami menarche menggunakan teknik sampling total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang diisi sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan tentang menstruasi dilakukan. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan ada pengaruh penyuluhan tentang menstruasi terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan kecemasan remaja putri dalam menghadapi menarche dengan nilai p-value berturut-turut 0,000 (<0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ada pengaruh penyuluhan tentang menstruasi terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kecemasan remaja putri dalam menghadapi menarche.
