Abstract
SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KESEHATAN BINA USADA BALI PROGRAM STUDI SARJANA KEPERAWATAN Skripsi, Januari 2022 Ni Gusti Kadek Ayu Putri Astiti Asih Hubungan Tingkat Stres dengan Kualitas Tidur pada Lanjut Usia di Poliklinik Geriatri RS X Denpasar xv + 75 + 5 tabel + 2 gambar + 12 lampiran ABSTRAK Lanjut usia mengalami penurunan kualitas tidur disebabkan perubahan sistem neurologis. Penurunan kualitas tidur dapat menyebabkan rusaknya memori dan kemampuan kognitif. Stres merupakan salah satu penyebab dari gangguan tidur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres dengan kualitas tidur pada lanjut usia di Poliklinik Geriatri RS X Denpasar. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode cross sectional. Teknik sampling mengunakan non-probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 37 responden. Analisis yang digunakan adalah rank spearman. Hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas responden mengalami stres dalam kategori sedang sebesar 54,1% dan memiliki kualitas tidur dalam kategori baik sebesar 67,6%. Berdasarkan hasil uji rank spearman didapatkan nilai p-value = 0,013 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan tingkat stres dengan kualitas tidur pada lanjut usia di Poliklinik Geriatri RS X Denpasar. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan KIE kepada keluarga lanjut usia untuk memberikan support system bagi lanjut usia guna menghindari stressor sehingga kualitas tidur lanjut usia meningkat. Decreased sleeping quality can cause damage to memory and cognitive abilities. Stress is one of the causes of sleeping disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between stress levels and sleeping quality of the elderly at the Geriatric Polyclinic X Denpasar Hospital. This study used cross sectional method. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 37 respondents. The analysis used was Spearman rank. The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced stress in the moderate category of 54.1% and had good sleeping quality of 67.6%. Based on the results of the Spearman rank test, p-value = 0.013 <0.05 it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between stress levels and sleeping quality of the elderly at the Geriatric Polyclinic X Denpasar hospital. It is expected that health workers can provide IEC to elderly families to provide a support system for the elderly to avoid stressors so that the sleeping quality of the elderly increases.
