Abstract
SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KEPERAWATAN BINA USADA BALI PROGRAM STUDI SARJANA KEPERAWATAN Skripsi, Januari 2021 Desak Putu Ratnaningsih Perbedaan EMLA Cream dan Ethylchloride Spray Untuk Menurunkan Nyeri Pemasangan Infus di Ruang IGD RS X Denpasar (xiv + 69 halaman + 10 Tabel + 5 Gambar + 11 Lampiran) ABSTRAK Pemasangan infus akan menimbulkan rasa nyeri pada pasien sehingga diperlukan pengendalian rasa nyeri dengan melakukan penilaian yang akurat dan menerapkan prosedur farmakologis dan non farmakologis untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri. Salah satu tehnik farmakologi yang digunakan untuk mengurangi nyeri adalah penggunaan EMLA Cream dan spray dingin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan EMLA Cream dan ethylchlorida spray untuk menurunkan nyeri dalam pemasangan infus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Quasy Experiment dengan rancangan post test only group design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 80 responden yaitu 40 responden diberikan EMLA Cream dan 40 responden diberikan ethylchlorida spray. Teknik sampling menggunakan consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi berisi skala penilaian nyeri dengan menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata skala nyeri pada kelompok EMLA Cream adalah 2,08, rerata skala nyeri pada kelompok ethylchlorida spray 3,35. Hasil uji Mann Whitney Test didapatkan Zhitung= 1,768 < Ztabel= 1,96 dan P value= 0,077 > α 0,05 hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 diterima yang artinya tidak ada perbedaanyang signifikan EMLA Cream dan Ethylchloride Spray. Penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan EMLA Cream dan Ethylchloride Spray terhadap nyeri saat pemasangan infus. One of the pharmacological techniques used to reduce pain is the use of EMLA Cream and cold spray. This study purposed to determine the difference between EMLA Cream and ethyl chloride spray to reduce pain during infusion. The research method used was Quasy Experiment with post-test only group design. This study included 80 respondents, 40 respondents were applied EMLA Cream and 40 respondents were applied ethyl chloride spray. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Collecting data using an observation sheet containing a pain rating scale using the Numeric Rating Scale. The results showed that the mean pain scale in the EMLA Cream group was 2.08, the mean pain scale in the ethyl chloride spray group was 3.35. The results of the Mann Whitney Test showed that Zcount = 1.768 <Ztabel = 1.96 and P-value = 0.077> α 0.05. These results indicate that H0 was accepted, which means that there was no significant difference between EMLA Cream and Ethylchloride Spray. This study concluded that there was no significant difference between EMLA Cream and Ethylchloride Spray on pain during infusion.
