Abstract

Dermatitis kontak merupakan jenis dermatitis yang paling banyak ditemukan dari seluruh penyakit kulit. Upaya pencegahan kekambuhan dermatitis kontak memerlukan pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang baik karena dapat mempengaruhi pola pikir seseorang dengan mengetahui bahaya dari penyakit dermatitis untuk melakukan tindakan pencegahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan pencegahan kekambuhan pada klien dermatitis kontak di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Bali Mandara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah klien dermatitis kontak sebanyak 53 responden menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisa dengan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil pengetahuan tentang dermatitis kontak sebagian besar yaitu 27 responden (50,9%) kurang. Pencegahan kekambuhan sebagian besar yaitu 30 responden (56,6%) kurang. Hasil uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan pencegahan kekambuhan pada klien dermatitis kontak dengan kekuatan korelasi yang sangat kuat dan arah korelasi positif. Pengetahuan merupakan salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan terbentuknya suatu perilaku. Pengetahuan yang harus dimiliki oleh pasien dermatitis kontak dapat memotivasi pasien untuk berpartisipasi melakupan upaya pencegahan kekambuhan
