Abstract

Kehamilan trimester III merupakan tahapan terakhir dari proses kehamilan dimana janin terus berkembang menjadi semakin besar yang membuat ibu hamil mengalami ketidaknyamanan, seperti munculnya gejala insomnia. Pemberian aromaterapi merupakan upaya relaksasi untuk membantu meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kualitas tidur yang melibatkan pemberian minyak esensial tanaman tertentu, seperti lavender. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi lavender terhadap insomnia pada ibu hamil trimester III di UPTD Puskesmas Nusa Penida I. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan pre-experiment dengan one group pretest and posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 responden yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 15 Mei-15 Juni 2025 yaitu terkait insomnia menggunakan lembar insomnia rating scale. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan insomnia sebelum dan setelah pemberian aromaterapi lavender, yaitu dari insomnia ringan (56,7%) menjadi tidak mengalami insomnia (53,3%). Aromaterapi lavender berpengaruh signifikan terhadap insomnia ibu hamil trimester III di UPTD Puskesmas Nusa Penida I (p-value=0,000). Bidan dan petugas kesehatan lainnya diharapkan dapat menerapkan aromaterapi lavender sebagai intervensi rutin untuk membantu mengatasi keluhan insomnia pada ibu hamil trimester III
