Abstract

Salah satu perubahan fisiologi yang terjadi pada masa remaja adalah perkembangan organ reproduksi yang ditandai dengan timbulnya menstruasi. Keram perut atau dismenore akibat menstruasi biasanya terjadi pada kalangan remaja tiga tahun pertama setelah menarche. Salah satu penanganan dismenore menggunakan terap non farmakologis adalah dengan massage effleurage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh massage effleurage terhadap nyeri dismenore terhadap remaja siswi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design dengan jumlah sampel 26 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan menggunakan remaja siswi usia 16-18 tahun yang mengalami nyeri dismenore. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah standar operasional prosedur massage effleurage, lembar observasi pengkajian nyeri numeric rating scale (NRS), data diuji menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test (p value <,= 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skala nyeri dismenore remaja siswi sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 4,69 (nyeri sedang), setelah diberikan intervensi rata-rata skala nyeri dismenore remaja putri mengalami penurunan dengan hasil 2,69 (nyeri ringan), hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p value 0,001<0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh massage effleurage terhadap nyeri dismenore di SMAN 1 Marga. Diharapkan pelayanan kesehatan maupun masyarakat khususnya remaja siswi mampu menerapkan terapi massage effleurage untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri dismenore.
