Abstract

Keselamatan pasien (patient safety) saat ini telah menjadi isu global dan komponen kritis dari manajemen mutu rumah sakit. Salah satu komponen dalam patient safety yang harus dilaksanakan di kamar operasi adalah penerapan surgical safety checklist. Kepatuhan dalam penerapan surgical safety checklist dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti pengetahuan patient safety yang dimiliki perawat. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan patient safety terhadap kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan surgical safety checklist di Ruang Pre Operasi Instalasi Kamar Operasi RSD Mangusada Badung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Sampelnya adalah seluruh perawat di Ruang Instalasi Kamar Operasi RSD Mangusada Badung yang dipilih secara total sampling sejumlah 41 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 01-31 Oktober 2020. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji statistik nonparametric rho spearman pada tingkat kemaknaan α 0.05, didapatkan nilai p sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Hal ini menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan patient safety terhadap kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan surgical safety checklist di Ruang Pre Operasi Instalasi Kamar Operasi RSD Mangusada Badung. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat di kamar operasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang patient safety dan lebih patuh dalam pelaksanaan surgical safety checklist.
