Abstract

Pembedahan atau operasi merupakan cara pengobatan invasif yang dilakukan dengan membuat sayatan pada bagian tubuh manusia yang dibantu dengan teknik anestesi atau pembiusan yang diberikan berdasarkan berat badan pasien. General anestesi adalah tindakan anestesi yang dapat mengubah status fisiologis pasien yang ditandai dengan hilangnya kesadaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan index massa tubuh (IMT) dengan waktu pasien pulih sadar pada pasien post operasi dengan general anastesi (GA) di Ruang Operasi RSD Mangusada. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional correlative dengan jumlah sampel 94 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi IMT dan aldrete score untuk mengetahui waktu pulih sadar pasien setelah operasi dengan general anestesi kemudian analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik spearman rank. Hasil uji analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai correlation coefficient pada uji spearman rank sebesar 0,245 yang berarti antara index masa tubuh (IMT) dan waktu pulih sadar pasien post operasi dengan general anestesi (GA) memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan nilai p-value 0,017 yang berarti < 0,05 sehingga antara indeks masa tubuh (IMT) dan waktu pulih sadar pasien post operasi dengan GA memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Semakin tinggi IMT pasien maka waktu pulih sadar yang diperlukan semakin lama karena pemberian obat anestesi disesuaikan dengan berat badan pasien
